Fieldtrip Report:
Reel Amethyst Mine Photos by: Rick Bernotas, Shirley Green and Rick Jacquot MAGMA hosted a very successful trip to re-open the long closed Reel Amethyst Mine in Lincoln County, NC. As many of you know, our member Steve Barr had made contact with the owners of the mine and was able to negotiate some follow up meetings and a dig for our club.
