We had another fun trip to the Reel Mine. The weather looked bad for Friday but as it turned out, we had a little rain before dawn and none the rest of the day, perfect digging weather.

I decided to dig where we found some huge amethysts a few months ago. I ended up with a few phantom smoky crystals but no giant amethyst again. There were some nice golf ball size crystals found though.

Mitch pulled out some nice crystals in our trench.
