Fieldtrip Report:
New England Trip By Lawrence Davis and Steve Bonney The Connecticut welcome sign was a welcome sign indeed for members traveling north as we officially began our 2009 New England Trip. Preparations had begun long before and the wait for some of us had been a difficult one. Connecticut residents Cathy and Joe joined us at the Simpson Quarry in South Glastonbury, our first destination of the trip. Bob also joined us from Connecticut. Lawrence, from Maryland, striking a classic and productive rockhound pose. This hole produced the beryl pictured below.
