Lee says "after a hard day at Walker Creek, I count on "wet ones" for the camping mans shower!"

Later in the evening, more of our new members, Travis and Linda Hartin and their kids showed up with their 120 pound pet wolf "Timber".

Of course it didn't take long for Timber to smell the chili.

Getting ready for a big day at the Crabtree Mine!

Once we arrived at the Crabtree Mine, we found Steve P., Dave H. and his son Nick and Robert C. hard at work.

One of the first things we are doing is removing all the overgrowth at the mine.

When we first arrived, we thought we had encountered the previous caretaker, you know, the one who charges $50 per day!

After talking with this fellow a bit, we learned his name is Fred the Blacksnake, he says he likes to hang out at the mine and eat those unsuspecting copperheads, we asked if he would also keep an eye out for trespassers for us.
