Well I am finally getting around to putting this report together, its a biggie, of course i'm covering a 4 day trip. My weekend started out Thursday the 25th, I drove to the US Forest area where we planned to camp below Walker Creek to make sure we had a large enough camp area for our group. It turns out that I found the largest site in the area, it was a three level camping area, perfect for the large crowd I knew we would have. I set up a tent and rain canopy and posted the M.A.G.M.A. sign to mark our territory.

As I was leaving the site, I ran into Ken Sexton, one of our new M.A.G.M.A. members. He was setting up camp and planned to be there Thursday night, this was great, I had to be at a board meeting in Hendersonville and could not camp that night, I planned to return Friday morning to join the group heading up to Walker Creek.

Of course Friday morning came and everything went the wrong way, I ended up getting to the site around 10:30 after meeting up with another of our new members from Florida and her daughter. I spent the morning setting up my camp and decided to wait for the rest of the group to come back down the mountain.

Of course the rest of the club had a blast at Walker Creek, heres a few pics:
