One inch thick kyanite chunk that Josh found.

Nice 1/2" almandine crystal.

Almandine garnet with terminated apatite crystal.

Yes it was a great trip, everyone came home with some great pieces, I plan to visit this site throughout the summer during the week if anyone would like to join me, and we'll have another club trip this fall. See you next Friday at the Vulcan Quarry.
