Let's see here.... I guess I'll join this conversation as well.

yes... i'm only 21, but I have done a good bit with myself.

During high school, I graduated 19th in my class with a 4.6 GPA on a 5.0 scale with a perfect 4.0 on the old 4.0 scale. I threw shot put and discus, in which I had to coach myself because the track coach was a long distance runner. Well by my sophomore year, I won conference on my birthday. I managed to be the Field MVP for 3 years (highest point scorer for field events).

My freshman year, I joined an organization called the FFA or Future Farmers of America. By my senior year, I was president of the club and working on becoming a State Officer with the student led organization. The summer before my senior year, I was nominated to attend Boys State at the Citadel during the second week of June. My late Uncle Harvey, who had been one of the main reason I had taken pride in agriculture, died only 5-6 days before I was supposed to leave for Boy's State. I was crushed! I didnt want to go, but my aunt told me that Harvey had went to the Boy's State in Texas (where he was orignally from). So I went. It was a hard week, but some how I managed to be elected to the position of State Commission of Agriculture. The nine state officers that were elected from Boy's State were able to meet their real life counterpart in Columbia. At that time, Les Tindale was the Commissioner. It was quite an experience.

As for Track and Field, I gave it up my senior year so that I could focus on working towards being a State FFA officer. Well, the hard work paid off. I was elected State Secretary at the 75th South Carolina FFA Convention. I was a freshman at Clemson university at this time and maintained a 3.9 GPR for the year along with putting over 32,000 miles on a brand new truck due to all of my engagements with FFA. The Biggest highlight of that year was that I was asked to introduce Rulon Gardner at a National FFA Convention Luncheon in Louisville, KY. It was awesome. I was able to get to know him a little bit, and he let me hold his gold medal that he won in the 2000 summer Olympics for Greco-Roman Wrestling. WOW!
He's a truly geniune guy.... very nice!

He has a new book out too... might be worth reading.

Now, I'm a senior at Clemson and I plan to graduate on May 12 with honors. By the way, Im a Horticulture major.

I will be getting married on Dec 16, 2006.
