Laurel Creek Corundum,

August 13, 2003Spent the day today at the Laurel Creek Corundum site in Ga. with my friend Bill, there have been rumors that this site had been closed, not true!, We asked the resident who lives at the end of the road where you enter the forest road, they gave us permission to park etc.. I have been hearing many rumors about many sites being closed lately and have been checking them out , I think some greedy diggers are starting these rumors to keep people out of their favorite spots, I have several more on my list that I will be checking out in the next week or so. between me and Bill, we found over 10 lbs. of corundum crystals, I found two small green sapphires, cool stuff,
