Our M.A.G.M.A. member Steve Hultberg was there and had found some nice size pieces of cave onyx, he is also a member of the Rome Ga. Mineral Club and lives in the area, i'm sure he'll be back.

These are two of the larger pieces I brought back, Steve hauled them down the hill to my vehicle for me, thanks Steve! that saved me a sore back.

M.A.G.M.A. members, Harold and Loretta Myers.

The side walls of the mountain, you can see the small openings that are still present that show where the caverns used to be.

John D. at the entrance of one of the old caverns.

Our Wisconsion member Melvin with a backpack full of goodies.

Above: RJ found this neat little formation in a crack in the wall, the piece was growing down from the ceiling and had hit the bottom, it then mushroomed out into this cool formation.
