The Fall 2007 Glendon pyrite dig turned out be a wonderful adventure. Everyone had a chance to find and dig on a vein of large cubes even though many of them crumbled as they were extracted. It was very dry for the first time in memory and none of us needed to wear our rubber boots. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. James Faile, Manager of the Glendon Mine, for all of his help and assistance. I know it must be a great aggravation to the mine to have almost 200 people visit their site twice per year; but we are so glad they do. As for MAGMA, we were well represented and our members were very polite and assisted others when needed. Thanks everyone for making this a very enjoyable day in the pyrite capitol of the world.
