Fieldtrip report:

Diamond Hill Mine, Antreville, S.C.
November 8, 2003

Hello all, we had another great day collecting at Diamond Hill in S.C. today, by special invite from our friend and fellow M.A.G.M.A. member Riviera, (thank you Riviera), today was special, the owner was present with several other rockhounds and a trackhoe and skidder, with the use of these machines we were able to uncover numerous specimens of skeletal quartz, and a variety of other minerals, one lady from the Carroll Co. club found a nice 2" amethyst crystal, there were members of M.A.G.M.A., G.M.S., Carrol County and the Athens Ga. club present, as you would expect, a ton of material was removed from the mine.
