August 16th, 2008Official Fieldtrip of the Henderson County Gem and Mineral Society
We had a great turnout for the Hendersonville Gem and Mineral Society DMC trip to the Crabtree Emerald Mine. 46 people from clubs all over the southeast joined us for the day.
We arrived early to setup the sign in table and get the machine ready to go. The fog was still hanging low in the mountains.

Ken brought his water pump and let the members use it to help find material.
