HELLO ALL, WE HAD AN EXCELLENT DAY OF COLLECTING TODAY AT THE CRABTREE MINE IN MITCHELL COUNTY N.C., THE HENDERSON COUNTY, GASTON COUNTY, CHARLOTTE CLUB, AND M.A.G.M.A. MEMBERS MET FOR A GREAT DAY OF DIGGING, LOTS OF GOLD BERYL AND EMERALD SPECIMENS WERE FOUND,

Doug & Beth D., Doug thanks for the great volcano rocks from Europe, they will make a nice addition to my collection,
Henderson Co. club member Roger was dressed for deer hunting but settled for emerald hunting, he found the best specimens of the day.
More of the group, we had a total of around 20 or more people show for the dig, a great day of collecting with friends.
