Chunky Gal Mountain, collecting area cleanup!

Members of M.A.G.M.A. went to Chunky Gal Mountain today to clean up after previous rockhounds had visited the area, the prior visitors when asked about the trash claimed that the "locals" must have trashed the area while having a party on the mountain, when we went to remove the trash we noticed that the trash was soda bottles, gatoraid bottles, lunch trash, baggies etc. all this was discarded in the holes where people were collecting, I doubt that the "locals" went to the trouble to walk to the top of the mountain and then carefully place their trash in seperate digging holes, and you know they were really having a party while drinking that gatoraid! the fact is the place was trashed by other rockhounds, not true rockhounds in my book but scumbags that ruin so many sites for all of us, that is why our club commits at least 3-4 fieldtrips a year to policing and cleaning certain sites.

All the trash pictured was found in seperate collecting holes on top of the mountain, the trash in the bag was beer bottles found just past the parking area in the woods probably left by local kids drinking.
