This was our second official dig for the MAGMA club to this newly opened quartz location in Norwood, NC. Our club member Laurie Adams was the man instrumental in getting this site opened to us and other clubs in the Southeast. Thank you Laurie!
We had a machine at the site the weekend before the club dig to open up the dig area and cut trenches through the dump areas for the members to work. The members were able to work the dump piles or work the veins and pockets in the quartz knob that extends the length of the collecting area. The site is pretty big and is able to accommodate large clubs with no problem.
