Sheepcliff Aquamarine Mine
Specimens For Sale:

The Sheepcliff Aquamarine Mine was opened in 1942 and mined for gem grade aquamarine and beryl. Located near Cashiers in Western North Carolina, it has been a favorite collecting site for rockhounds for years. In 2003 the mine was developed and a multi million dollar house built over the site. I, and a few other lucky rockhounds were invited by the property owner to collect at the site while the construction was taking place. This enabled us to have access to dump material buried deep in the earth for decades. We were able to recover some of the finest specimens to ever come from the mine. I will be offering small and large crystals and crystal sections of aquamarine and beryl from this site as well as feldspar and quartz crystals. Now a closed location, specimens from this site and are becoming highly collectable.
